This piece was made in 1984 and was one of the early retired pieces. Tin was
mined in Cornwall; in the height of mining in the 1850's, one in every four
Cornish men was a tin miner. This piece is still in it's original box with
certificate.
It was purchased at over $100.

Dower House 1982 Retired Piece

Has it's label on bottom " The Dower House by David Winter C 1982 David Winter"
When the owner of the great house died and left a widow, she would
move into retirement in the dower house.
This piece is as new and is in it's original box with certificate.
